School Meals Matter is operated by Kane Consulting LLC. By using SchoolMealsMatter.com, purchasing or downloading a product, creating an account, or accessing membership resources, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Digital Products and Resources

School Meals Matter provides digital training, leadership, operational, marketing, and other resources primarily for K–12 school nutrition professionals.

Unless otherwise stated, products are delivered digitally. Purchase or membership provides a license to use the resource. It does not transfer ownership or copyright.

Product Licensing

Products purchased individually from the School Meals Matter store are licensed for use at one school location.

A purchaser may print, present, and use the materials with employees at that school when the resource is designed for team training or implementation.

A single-school purchase does not permit the product to be copied, emailed, uploaded, distributed, or used at additional schools.

To use a product at multiple schools, the purchaser must either:

Purchase one license for each school where the resource will be used; or
Maintain an active School Meals Matter District Membership that includes district-wide usage rights.

District Membership

An active District Membership provides access to the School Meals Matter Resource Library and permission to use included resources internally throughout the subscribing school district.

Resources may be shared with school nutrition managers and employees within the subscribing district as appropriate for training and program use.

District Membership resources may not be shared with other districts, outside organizations, consultants, vendors, or the general public.

Co-op and Sponsored Memberships

Some memberships may be purchased or sponsored by a co-op, GPO, distributor, association, or other organization for eligible school districts.

Access is limited to participating districts and authorized users covered by the applicable membership agreement.

Partner-sponsored membership provides access and usage rights only. It does not transfer ownership of School Meals Matter content to the sponsoring organization or participating districts.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise identified, School Meals Matter content is owned by Kane Consulting LLC and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.

School Meals Matter books, QuickTrain™ modules, training materials, worksheets, toolkits, templates, graphics, videos, presentations, marketing materials, and other original resources may not be resold, sublicensed, publicly posted, republished, or distributed outside the applicable license without written permission.

Member Accounts

Members are responsible for maintaining the security of their login information.

Access to member-only resources is limited to users and organizations covered by the applicable membership plan. School Meals Matter may suspend or terminate access when an account or its resources are used outside the terms of the applicable license or membership.

Payments and Renewals

Prices and payment terms are displayed at the time of purchase.

Recurring memberships will renew according to the billing terms disclosed when the membership is purchased unless canceled in accordance with the applicable plan terms.

Digital Product Refunds

Because digital products may be accessed or downloaded immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, except where required by law.

Educational Information

School Meals Matter makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information. Resources are intended for educational and operational support and do not replace applicable federal, state, or local requirements, official agency guidance, district policies, legal advice, or other professional advice.

Users are responsible for determining whether a resource is appropriate for their program and for complying with applicable requirements.

Third-Party Content and Links

SchoolMealsMatter.com may include links or content provided by third parties, including co-ops, distributors, associations, and other organizations.

School Meals Matter is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, content, or practices of third-party websites or resources.

Changes to Products and Membership Resources

School Meals Matter is a growing resource library. Products, membership resources, website features, and services may be added, updated, reorganized, replaced, or discontinued.

Membership does not guarantee that a particular resource will remain available indefinitely.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kane Consulting LLC and School Meals Matter are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the website, products, memberships, or resources.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically. The current version will be posted on this page with the effective date.

Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
